I am honored work as a tutor, believe learning can be fun, and enjoy making writing, English, geography, and history enjoyable for my students. Isn't the concept of learning while having fun amazing? I believe learning is best when it is holistic, meaning it brings various types of knowledge into a particular subject. A geography class, for example, includes not only information on land areas, topography, and oceans, but also nations, cultures, economies, and politics among other topics. I currently teach at the collegiate level as well.A graduate of Boise State University, I obtained my undergraduate degree in Accounting, with a minor in Asian Studies. I obtained an MBA a few years later, focusing on International Business, once again from Boise State. Hewlett Packard was my employer for several years; during this time I decided to work with nations that used to be in the Soviet Union. I started a consulting firm focused on offering training in countries in a state of transition, including ones in Central Asia. During this time I also earned a Leadership and Organizational Behavior doctorate.When not tutoring or being an entrepreneur, I enjoy basketball, football, playing golf, painting in water colors, and reading historical novels.
